DEATH NOTE!!! AHHH THE MOVIE ADAPTATION OF THE WITTIEST MANGA SERIES I HAVE EVER READ ... 19TH OCTOBER, AND I'M WATCHING IT
P.S. I read the manga in chinese (with much difficulty, of course) because the english edition is not yet out in singapore, and in the states, it has only been translated up to volume 4 so far

Death notE? I think the recent interesting show would have to be Sinking of Japan. Heard it was quite cool. The effects were great.

WTF! This is one of the best movies I ever watched! The show is called "The Experiment". It's a German film which has won 12 international film awards! The show is really a great show. It's about a group of people who went to do an experiment to earn money. They played Prisoners and Guards. It's really really really really really a great show! Go rent the DVD at Video Ezy. If the show not nice you come and beat me!

Foreign films don't do particularly well in Singapore. The only new foreign films that are shown in Singapore are the R rated movies >_>

Are there many local films? Many of the popular films in Singapore are from Hollywood wad.
