For good value shopping, head down to Buggis village. They display a good variety of fashionable design best for cargo jeans i would say and not so appealing for the male tops. Even so, do not be disheartened! Look, the business over there is like this, they will rather purchase a few pieces over bits of different design and sell them rather at a limited stock than that of ample amount found in those infamous local shops. Know wad im saying? Yes! They stock up every now and then so lets say this week u found a whole range of tops THEN you might find something new next week or the following. I would give Buggis Village a thumbs up of 4.5 out of 5 stars. Personal experience - i seen a cargo jean in one of the shop in Far East but did not purchase due to the insignificant price. So i thought i'll give it a pass when i came across the same one in BV! I was thrilled and asked for the price when its almost twenty bucks off and you bet, its still hanging around in those popular wardrobe"s" of mine. If you say you got a better deal, com'on think again! Thats' all for sharing. - zen was here -

Talking about skimpier, do you know? Chanel Thomas hate mini skirts because she dun think they are normal and proper clothings? That's y you dun see her collection anywhere near the word "short".
Well, speaking about shopping, I would highly recommend going all out for cheap cheap clothings anywhere you can stuff your head into. It's cool, really, when you get it, send it to the tailor's and WALLA!!! A nice funky unique one-of-a-kind piece is ready for you to showcase down the roads of Orchard!
However, for those who possess an allergy for cheap clothings, I would recommend Burburry. Why? Simple. Their prints are never out of fashion and not too glamourous (so that you can show off to your friends without being a show-it-all), and the salespeople are friendlier than Dior's.
Shopping for not-so-cheap yet stylish and affordable ones? Bugis, Far East, ... all those one-of-a-kind cluster of miniature shops whereby they sell clothes of the same style, size, price and color, and before you know it, walking out from the shop next door would be a person wearing the same outfit as you are! Come on! My friends who owned these kind of shops buy their goods from Thailand/Hong Kong/China, etc... So they are actually SAMA SAMA!

That's more for the sporting type. And the disadvantage is that there are many fake goods at Queensway.

Well, fake or geniune it doesn't really matter as long as they look good on you! Personally, I prefer lower quality shoes and bags coz they are pretty and spoil easily. Then I can have an excuse to go for more shopping! Hee hee...

I think more or less brands do not count that much if you don't have a good fashion sense. After shopping around for Christmas in the past couple of days, I think there are pretty good bargains here and there if you look closely. Those small entrepreneurs opeing shops alongside the roads or carts in shopping centres really offer cheap and fashionable stuff. I think Tampines Mall is a great place for the females. For the guys, maybe try HMV. The stuff there are quite ex but not bad fashion for guys. I also noticed that nowadays, jackets for guys are in fashion. Is that so?

Downstairs sell CDs, upstairs sell clothes. Duh... and I found a nice stall at the basement that sells really nice and cheap accessories. Whilst stock lasts! It's only for Christmas I think.
