I for one, enjoys the manga more. The movie kinda confuse me with some new-added scenes and all. Especially the ending... (dun wanna spoil it.) The anime's not too bad. Manga's the best. Its just sad that two of my fav characters had to... those who know, you know. u_u

Well, it just turns out like this eh? Just like how we prefer to read the Harry Potter Books rather than watch the movie. Well, I guess this just proves that we cant have the best of both worlds. Either we watch the manga and enjoy it or choose to go for the movie instead. Watching both just complicates matters and cause confusion.

More or less, yep. That's the way it has to be. *sigh* But the actors sure acted well in the movie though. The actor portraited L really well, and he looks like him too. As for Raito, he doesn't look much alike the manga character, the hairstyle's kinda off, but his performance amazes me~

*sigh* Poor L... I still can't get over his fate... *sigh*
The manga is by the same mangaka that did Hikaru no Go, Qi2 Ling2 Wang2. It quite realistic compared to other mangas's drawing style. The last book, the scene where fate ends with Raito, will forever remain in my head, lol. Atleast NeAr is safe now~ *hugs the little boy*

Fangurrrllls
I think Deathnote didn't make a good movie.. The pacing was all off. and it was very boring... but this thread is not about the movie I guess. ..

Of course the anime would be a better choice. Its still the original. Or rather, much more original as the movie since the creator of DeathNote drew it, not acted or directed it. =)
