I only go for singers with strong vocals, so I can already sieve out so many Chinese singers who doesn't have strong vocals.
Alright, to name a few Chinese singers with strong vocals, Jacky Cheung, Jane Zhang, Guo Fu Cheng, Jacky Wu, and I don't know who liao.
I can name so many English singers with strong vocals!

JJ Lin is the one for me,some people might nto agree but his songs are nice to me.A mei has great vocals too,I think it's because she was from those tribal families, and she used to sing to those mountains.

That's what they say. Most of the Taiwanese native singers are always tagged "Great Singing Voice" for selling but of course so long after the Ah Mei craze, we hardly see singers trying to break in using the Aborginal Tag. More of crowned the "jay/jolin killer" these days. Oh and Singapore singers. Seems like every year we got a few new Singaporeans trying to work their way in.

Not almost every new chinese singer is sold as a "Jay Chou" killer. The latest one was manufactured by Jay's Mentor to give Jay a run. How he sounds like???Hmmm...not too sure. Jay Chou represent a genre of songs and composition. Whatever he did, he achieved, is not likely repeated. The only Jay killer is Jay himself. He can fall on his own.

Well said,I think somehow everyone is different, just like the likings,if people like the singer, most probably the singer will have lots of supports.

I am not surprise at all by this piece of information. Afterall the Chinese (PRC) market has no leaders (as in total domination) in that sense. Maybe we ought to dig out their Weekly Top 10 and compare with ours and Taiwan's.

lol i just learned from a lecture today that China students give their weekends, lessons, or subjects nicknames. one of the most interesting ones is the nickname they give to their "wu gong ke" weekends, and guess what? They use JJ's "Yi Qian Nian Yi Hou"'s song title to represent it. lol, do you get it?
