If you want a computer for simple gaming and work, it'll cost you about $1000 with the newer parts but only comes with CPU. Budget is the most important thing in building a DIY rig. Unless you are saying that you have unlimited budget.

Those house brand com all the parts inside lousy one. If you play games like 'Oblivion', then your com surely lag.

Because House Brands comes with long term warranty and are less troublesome to buy. DIY need to buy part by part and fix it on your own, or you can also ask other people to help you fix.

obviously they are good, their "average" PCs already have specs that are higher than the bought-off-the-shelves PC found in Best Denki, Courts, and so on and so forth. (which explains the $4000 - $6000 price tag)

yeah, and the design of their PCs are cool too (and it is mainly due to the alien-like design and the Alienware logo on them that creates the effect).
