Did anyone mention this before? The font colour is the same for topic and (ordinary) member on the main page? Can be it changed so that the topic is not lost between member and topic and member?

Agree agree! I think what this site lacks is the ability to sustain ppl's interests as although many members are considered active, such as gynette and inova and mordecai of course, we still do not have somewhere where we are passionate to post stuff we know on it or for discussions.
I think more or less, we have to start something to encourage existing members to try posting. If emailing them does not help, maybe other incentives might. Or else, I think we had attracted the wrong bunch of ppl. We need to attract posters, not ppl we know but do not post.

Unfortunately no. Member names have to remain the same color as all the links on this site cos' your name actually links you to your profile. I can't do anything about that. But don't worry, here's a lil' spoiler for you guys once V2 is out: Member's can get their names to be a different color but they have to do something[/b] first. What is it? Stay tuned!
We need to attract posters, not ppl we know but do not post. Do they not post or do they do not know how to post? There's a thin line between these two. Also, do you think if we cut down on some boards, new members will be less intimidated by so much boards and actually come and post? What do you guys think?

I think how about we start by getting all our friends to join and urge them to post by teaching them how to and starting threads with them here?

I already tried that. It won't work very well unless the members here really push their friends to come on often and such. This really needs the cooperation of the members.
(P.S. Drifting away from Topic.)

Here's a sight I see on some or most forums:
#01 summer: Good morning Guys! It's raining today #02 autumn: morning summer! Morning to those online! #03 spring: Hey *cutpasta text on who is viewing thread* Hi everyone!!! #04 winter: sorry guys got to go! I need to take my dog out. Cya! #05 summer: bye! #06 autumn: cya! *hug and kisses* #07 spring: I love cheesy sausages!!! missed you!!! #08 winter: love ya all!!! #09 sixpacks: *pokes winter* so fast go already!!! #10 autumn: *pokes sixpacks* who ask you so late!!! #11 spring: Hi Sixpacks!!!
and infinity loops. Let's observe. Is there anything discussed??? By the Way, the title is: "George Lucas FanZone".
*inspired by many true examples. And I tried to fatten the quality examples*
I rather look forward to a balance of both personal and impersonal posting and a decent amount of quantity posters rather than 300 chat-tards. More doesn't means better sometimes.

you need a big enough community to attract more people.
I guess it's a chicken and egg thing la. best thing to do is just pull friends and family, people from other forums to post here like you all said lor
