Clubbing might be an activity that many youngsters like to do,but what exactly is the reason behind it?What do you go clubbing for,the reason for one might be different from another.Do share your reasons.

Most youths think that clubbing is cool cause most of thier older friends are going clubbing. There are many reasons. Some go clubbing just because they are curious and want to try somthing new. Some go because they want to drink and some go because they want to dance. I also go clubbing. But I go there cause I like to drink and move to the music. People socialise when they club too. But some people go over the limit by fighting and smacking K. This are some of reasons why there are many bouncers now. And also, most boys go there for the girls too. That's my thoughts.

Boys go there to look at girls and grope them, girls go there to get groped, to have more confidence and to deceive themselves that they are wanted?

Interesting reasoning, but I think some actually follow the herd and perhaps they want to fulfil their curious hearts. But what is so interesting about it?Is there something in there that attracts the youths besides all these reason?

Most youths think that clubbing is cool cause most of thier older friends are going clubbing. There are many reasons. Some go clubbing just because they are curious and want to try somthing new. Some go because they want to drink and some go because they want to dance. I also go clubbing. But I go there cause I like to drink and move to the music. People socialise when they club too. But some people go over the limit by fighting and smacking K. This are some of reasons why there are many bouncers now. And also, most boys go there for the girls too. That's my thoughts. Seriously, you can't socialize in a club. The music (and darkness) drowns any form of communication you might wanna have with that hot chick you saw. On top of that, you're probably tipsy from all that alcohol, she might not even be a chick!

i see clubbing as a way of escapism. The open-mindedness of people at these clubs are juxtaposed against the more traditional, conservative Singaporean culture. People go there just so they can show their real fun self, to dance like a mad person, to flirt openly and not be seen as cheesy or humsup or what. it's good and therapeutic for some people lah if they do not indulge in the vices of clubbing (eg. drugs/ promiscuity etc)

Come on lah, as guys, you should know why you want to go clubbing. As what Mordecai said. The lighting and atmosphere just makes it impossible to communicate properly.

When you chill at a corner, you'll get to socialise. But it's very true that most guys go there to grope. Who doesn't? Haha.

Point taken. I'll NEVER take my GF to clubbing or even allow her to do so. Not unless she wants to be a very *friendly* person, of course.

Unless the place is crowded of course. And unless there are big parties, it wont be packed. And if they do have big parties = more crowd = bigger groups of friends = more bouncers. There. SO, it might not be as easy as it seems to grope.
