taking grade 8 this year, and yeah, i take classes as i am not as genius-itic as Mozart, not a perfectionist like Brahms, not as skilful as Beethoven, and not as amazing as Haydn.

Drums. I learn it by my own when I was in a church about 4 years back. Every week after service, we would first go for dinner then we will head to the studio where the door was not lock and I would just try out some beats. Kinda fun cause there is only me and my other mate.

Drum is a interesting instrument. I've always liked drums. Any genre (except classical) seems to have drums in em, or is it?

well i have to admit drums is fun. and it takes quite a long time to master some flourishes done with the drum sticks, for example, spinning both drum sticks one round before every beat that you play, while performing a relatively fast piece is definitely not an easy task, but i've seen a music video in which that drummer managed to do that.

Is that the Church Of The Holy Trinity by any chance? well i have to admit drums is fun. and it takes quite a long time to master some flourishes done with the drum sticks, for example, spinning both drum sticks one round before every beat that you play, while performing a relatively fast piece is definitely not an easy task, but i've seen a music video in which that drummer managed to do that. You shld go Youtube and search for drum solo vids. The amount of skill those ppl have are incredible. I could never play like them in a million years. (Yeah, I play drums and guitar too)

wow so u know how to play the piano, drums, and the guitar. i only know how to play the piano, and i never tried to learn other instruments as i am not as passionate about music as you.
wait, this "passionate" thing reminded me of a question i wanted to ask you, are you in any music schools now such as Nanyang or Yamaha or whatever?

Yeah I do. I'm from Yamaha. I don't really play piano actually. Just taught myself to play after attending Electone classes at Yamaha. I trust you know what an Electone is?

Electone's more like a synthesizer but with pedals. Walk into any Yamaha and you'll see it for sure. I always say, if you can play one instrument, you can play all of em'.
