I think that shop is abit over priced, some of their CDs,are way more expensive then other CD shops,I do wonder sometimes if they sell the brand or the CDs.But if there isn't any other place,i think i won't have any other choice. yeah you are right. a system of a down: mesmerize CD there cost $25.90, whereas it used to only cost $19.90 in Sembawang. however, there are some CDs there that cost cheaper than their counterparts in Sembawang (e.g. linkin park: hybrid theory). thus u should really only go there for CDs that you cannot find in sembawang or cd rama or tower records. Yeap, but one thing that I don't know is that, why do they price it at such a high price, what is their reason for doing so?

Well, I think there are two main reasons. Firstly, although most of the CDs there only cost S$20 on amazon.com, HMV prices them at almost double their price as they want to make a bigger profit, and as many people do not like to order things online due to the long wait, they will pay the price willingly. Secondly, people who go to HMV mainly look for non-mainstream artistes. Thus, as most of the non-mainstream music CDs are imports from the country of origin (e.g. USA, Canada etc.), they will usually include the importing fee charge too apart from the GST and profit HMV wants to make.

You got a point, perhaps this might be one possible reason that they set the pricing so high.Purchasing of it,sometimes if there's tea in front of you, some people won't go the extra mile to buy plain water. But i do agree with your points fully.

yeah, and if you're someone whom has a patient nature, you can save tonnes of cash each year by ordering music CDs online instead of going to HMV to purchase them.

Some songs are nice, but there are songs which you keep listening to them, and soon you will grow sick of it.But it's strange,if it's nice,no matter how much you listen to it,you won't feel sick, but some songs do have this nature.
